Farnborough 2016: Brexit fears hover over UK aerospace

Coming as a welcome relief at a time when the political climate is in a state of flux post-Brexit is the news that the UK aerospace industry has seen an annual turnover increase of £1.9 billion, according to 2015 figures released by the ADS Group.

The UK’s aerospace industry turnover increase from £29.2 billion to £31.1 billion while the defence sector was relatively stable with a increase of £200 million to a £24 billion turnover. The figures were released in advance of the Farnborough International Airshow 2016 (FIA 2016).
