Vector Aerospace receives gold Boeing Performance Excellence Award
Vector Aerospace Component Services - UK (Vector), one of the world's leading independent providers of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services today announced that it has received a 2009 Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognise suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Vector Aerospace Component Service - UK maintained a Gold composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from October 1, 2008 to September 30, 2009.
This year, Boeing recognised 486 suppliers who achieved either a gold or silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. Vector is one of only 128 suppliers to receive the Gold level of recognition.
Vector Aerospace Chief Executive, Declan O'Shea said, "This is the second year Almondbank has won this award and achieving its criteria demonstrates the consistency of the quality of work that we are producing."
Vector Aerospace Component Services - UK provides flight safety critical dynamic and hydraulic component repair and overhaul services to Boeing in support of several major international Chinook users.
