UTAS cog helps turn US Army programmes

The US manufacturer UTC Aerospace Systems (UTAS) is investing heavily in a range of new technologies, which, in the company’s estimation, will eventually increase performance across major US Army rotary programmes.

Dialogue with Boeing is currently underway to examine AH-64E Apache Guardian upgrades including newer electrical distribution systems and health monitoring systems, as well as other composite concepts to strengthen the structural design of the aircraft.
