US Army sets out stall for AH-6i haul

The US Army has invited industry to outline its suitability for producing and delivering 120 FMS AH-6i armed scout helicopters.

To such ends an RfI was issued by the US Army Non-Standard Rotary Wing Aircraft Project Management Office (NSRWA PMO) on 9 January.

It stated: 'Issuance is for planning purposes only, to assist in identifying potential sources capable of supporting the NSRWA PMO’s AH-6 requirement for production and delivery of 120 AH-6 scout/attack helicopters, spares, ground support equipment, training of initial key personnel, and transportation.'
