Ukraine gives parliamentary approval for Airbus Helicopters deal
Ukraine’s parliament has given the green light to an Airbus Helicopters deal valued at €558.3 million further to ratification on 7 June.
A total of 55 helicopters of three types – H125, H145 and H225 - will be purchased for the Ukrainian Ministry of Interior under a government-to-government agreement between France and Ukraine.
Inked on 29 May by Delphine Gény-Stephann, the French secretary of state for economy and finances, and Arsen Avakov, the Ukrainian interior minister, the deal foresees the establishment of an airborne internal security and civil protection system in the Ukraine.
