Turkish Army's combat helicopter progresses on

Turkish Aerospace has been working on the new, twin engine multirole heavy combat helicopter (MHCH) for the past two to three years under the supervision of the country’s SSB defence procurement agency. 

The Turkish Army intends to enter the next decade with a new multirole heavy combat helicopter in its aviation regiments, which will significantly enhance its operational capabilities on the modern battlefield.

It has been developed in response to new operational requirements identified by the Turkish Armed Forces in the past several years.

However, according to company representatives, it could still take quite some time, until the project matures
