Triumph extends support for MD 530F
Triumph Group has extended its support work with MD Helicopters (MDHI) for the delivery of armed MD 530F scout attack helicopters to the US Army, it was announced on 9 October.
MDHI recently received a five-year IDIQ contract from the US Army to deliver up to 150 armed MD 530 aircraft to US and partner nations in support of foreign military sales opportunities.
Additionally, MDHI received an initial delivery order under the IDIQ contract for 30 new MD 530F Cayuse Warrior helicopters for the Afghan Air Force.
In support of these awards, Triumph Group's Integrated Systems – Geared Solutions will extend deliveries of main rotor gearbox and tail rotor gearbox through 2022 for current and future delivery orders.
