Tough talk on European attack helicopter programmes

Bell Helicopter’s commitments to eastern European attack helicopter programmes in the Czech Republic and Poland are strong in the light of the signing of a new memorandum of understanding (MOU), and tough talk from senior managers at the company.

At the newly-opened Bell Helicopter Prague delivery centre and painting facility, a MOU was signed on 11 May between Bell and the MPI group, a Czech Republic defence and security company, as a sign of collaboration on the UH-1Y Venom’s weapon systems requirements.

The MOU was announced on the same day as Bell’s first customer delivery at the Prague
