ADEX 2015: South Korean Apache deliveries imminent

The first 14 of 36 Boeing AH-64E Apache attack helicopters for the Republic of Korea Army (ROKA) are loaded on the production line right now, according to a Boeing spokesman at the Seoul ADEX 2015 show.

The material inspection and receiving reports for the first six have been submitted, while the first eight rotorcraft are in flight tests, Jim Barker, Boeing’s senior manager of AH-6i sales and marketing, informed Shephard.

A formal rollout ceremony for the first South Korean Apache to be transferred will take place on 2 November in the US.
