Sogitec to train Swedish NH90 crew
Sogitec Industries has won a contract by the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) to train Swedish Air Force and FMV Test and Evaluation NH90 crews, the company announced on 9 February. The agreement will run up to the end of 2021.
The training will take place at the French Army aviation academy's NH90 joint training centre (CFIA) in Le Cannet-des-Maures in south-eastern France.
CFIA has a multi-role training device and a full flight simulator. The multi-role training device is a fixed-base full mission simulator with all tactical, flight and procedure training capabilities.
Sweden is Sogitec's third NH90 training customer, after France and Finland. The company will be responsible for the development, production, and delivery of seven NH90 training devices for Finnish Army Aviation, the French Army and the French Navy. Spanish and Belgian Forces also use CFIA facilities.
