SOFEX 2018: Upgraded Cobra on the prowl

An upgraded variant of the Royal Jordanian Air Force’s (RJAF) AH-1F Cobra attack helicopter is on display for the first time at SOFEX 2018.

The Jordanian AH-1F Cobra has been upgraded by Science and Engineering Services (SES) at its US site.

The Cobra on display is one of two that landed in country at the end of April. The two aircraft must undergo further testing before being handed over to the RJAF in around two months’ time, according to Greg Kokoskie, senior programme manager at SES.
