Sino-Russian AHL contract due soon

Russia and China are cooperating on the Advanced Heavy Lifter (AHL) helicopter project, but the two parties have not yet signed a full contract. However, Rostec announced on 15 June that a contract would be signed ‘before the end of this year’.

The bilateral contract for the AHL will be signed by Rostec and the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), according to Victor Kladov, Rostec’s director for international cooperation and regional policy.
