SELEX Galileo EOST 46 turrets selected for six different platforms
Less than one year after its launch in the market, SELEX Galileo's EOST 46 turret has added six new orders to its book to reach a total of 25 systems. The turret was most recently selected by international customers for installation on six different platforms, both fixed and rotary wing to cover surveillance applications, further confirming the outstanding flexibility of the system.
This additional contract fits into a long-term agreement between SELEX Galileo and AgustaWestland to offer EOST 46 in different configurations as a baseline electro-optic (EO) turret for its helicopters, among which are the AW101 and AW109, and as a primary system to perform observation within search and rescue operations.
SELEX Galileo's activities in the UK and Italy have an outstanding track record in providing airborne EO systems and turrets with more than 750 systems sold in recent years.
