Scandinavian Avionics, AgustaWestland sign agreement
Scandinavian Avionics has announces that it has signed a Heads of Agreement with AgustaWestland for the ongoing Danish Maritime Helicopter Programme (MHP). Under the agreement, announced 20 April, 2012, should the AW159 be selected for the Danish programme, Scandinavian Avionics will provide a range of avionic support services to AgustaWestland.
As part of the wider industrial co-operation programme both parties will cooperate on pursuing market opportunities in Denmark and internationally, for their respective products and services. Investigations are already underway on projects whereby AgustaWestland will assist Scandinavian Avionics with training and development activities.
The agreement was signed by Geoff Hoon, Head of International Business, AgustaWestland and Michael R. Truelsen, CEO, Scandinavian Avionics at a ceremony held in Copenhagen yesterday.
