SB>1 Defiant blades issue appears solved

The Sikorsky-Boeing in-development SB>1 Defiant demonstrator team appear to have resolved production issues concerning the future medium class helicopter's blades.

Manufacturing issues of the components, being produced at Boeing's Mesa facility, have caused problems in the past, including delay to a previous first flight schedule in 2017. 

Despite the setback, the manufacturers are confident that extra time taken to make technical adjustments to the blades design will benefit the army's reduced life cycle FVL programme costs.
