Russian Helicopters, Datagate sign aftersales agreement
Russian Helicopters has signed a memorandum of intent with Thai company Datagate for cooperation in establishing a maintenance service center for Russian-made helicopters in Thailand, the company announced on 6 February.
It is expected that the center will be able to provide all kinds of maintenance and repair, troubleshooting and replacement of components.
The companies have also identified an opportunity to supply spare parts and provide the repair of components of civil helicopters under separate contracts.
The memorandum of intent will be valid for one year. The document also provides a possibility of renewal.
Andrey Boginsky, general director, Russian Helicopters, said: ‘This memorandum outlined the basic agenda and those items on which we intend to cooperate with our Thai partners. We agreed to explore all available prospects and opportunities and to develop a joint plan in the future.’
