Russia expands its customer support footprint in South America

Three new service centres for Russian-made military helicopters are set to be up and running this year in South America. 

According to Igor Chechikov, deputy director general at Russian Helicopters, the service centre in Brazil is situated in Belo Horizonte and it will deal with the overhaul of the Mi-35M attack helicopters of the Brazilian Air Force. He said that the first Mi-35M is expected to enter overhaul, with Russian technical assistance imminently with the works set to be completed until the year-end.
