Quad A: Lockheed Martin looks to leverage F-35 work

Lockheed Martin brought its F-35 simulator to the Quad A exhibition in Nashville to help promote the mission system work it is doing as part of the US Army's next-generation rotorcraft development under the Future Vertical Lift (FVL) programme.

Speaking to reporters at the exhibition, Ed Whalen, Lockheed Martin Rotary Wing capture lead, said the company was working on a range of technologies developed for the F-35 but which was equally applicable to the FVL effort.
