Quad A 2015: Boeing positions for multi-year Apache contract

Boeing received the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the multi-year contract for Apache AH-64E and will respond later in the year.

During a media briefing at the Quad A exhibition in Nashville, Col Jeff Hager project manager for Apache stated that multi-year acquisition contract go for approval with the Secretary for Defense in March 2016 for helicopters over the FY2017-21 timeframe.

He added that he expects Version 6 capabilities to be extended to the warfighter from 2017.
