The S-70i will be a workhorse in the Philippine Air Force, and even more of them could be procured.

The Philippine Air Force (PAF) formally accepted six Sikorsky S-70i combat utility helicopters in a ceremony at Clark Air Base on 10 December, with ten more helicopters from the same contract to be delivered in Q1 2021.

All these six had been delivered in November: five by An-124 aircraft arriving on 9 November and one by ship on 27 November, from Polish manufacturer PZL Mielec. They were supplied ahead of the original delivery schedule and come with an initial integrated logistics support package.

The Philippines placed its $241.5 million order in April 2019 under Horizon 2 of the Revised Armed Forces
