Political turbulence affects the helicopter business
A week is a long time in politics and this is especially true when you consider politics stopping play in the aerospace and defence industry as seen in Poland and more recently Pakistan.
This year started with the US president Trump calling out Pakistan on Islamic militant groups finding sanctuaries in the country. In a move to force the hand of Pakistan to react more overtly in tackling these factions the Pentagon announced it was freezing $900 million in security aid.
