Patria to continue maintaining Norwegian NH90
Patria Helicopters has received an order from the Norwegian Defence Logistics Organisation (NDLO) to continue maintaining Norway's NH90 helicopters, the company announced on 16 November.
Patria and the NDLO signed an agreement for Norwegian NH90 fleet maintenance in April 2017. The agreement was for two years and included an option for extensions. With this order, the NDLO is exercising the first option of one year, which will be effective from April 2019. Patria Helicopters will continue maintaining the aircraft from its Bardufoss, Norway, facility.
Jukka Holkeri, president of the international support partnerships business unit from Patria, said: ‘This follow-on order is an important milestone for Patria in Norway as it shows Patria’s capability in supporting military programmes with cost-effective solutions in long-term and is considered by us as a sign of trust from the customer.’
