Panther prowls in the Middle East

With a long history in the Middle East, Airbus Helicopters could see the newest variant of the Panther being utilised by current operators of the older model within the region.

Airbus Helicopters has a history in the Middle East with its operations stemming back to the 1970s and around 600 helicopters are now flown by a number of regional customers.

The updated 4.5t MBe variant of the Panther features Safran Arriel 2N engines, which increase the maximum take-off weight, as well as the aircraft's performance in high and hot conditions.
