Pakistan orders more AW139 helicopters
Leonardo will supply an undisclosed number of AW139 intermediate twin engine helicopters to the government of Pakistan, the company announced on 28 March.
The aircraft will be deployed for utility, search and rescue and emergency medical service operations around the country.
Deliveries are expected to commence in early 2018.
The new helicopters will join an existing AW139 fleet that is deployed for relief and transport duties by the Pakistan government.
