Nuri to receive cockpit upgrade

Airod signed an MoU with Heli-One on 20 April that will pave the way for Sikorsky S-61A-4 Nuri helicopters of the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) to extend their lives.

The agreement signed during the DSA 2016 exhibition in Kuala Lumpur covers glass cockpit upgrades for the Nuri platform that Malaysia has operated since the 1960s. The partners will develop a customised and ‘very cost-effective solution’.
