Nigeria takes its second pair of Hinds

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken delivery of two more Russian Helicopters Mi-35 Hind newly-built, night-capable attack helicopters.

The aircraft were airlifted to Makurda Air Base on 30 April by a Russian An-124-100 military transport aircraft and joined the first two examples of the same type which were delivered in January 2017.

The first pair of newly-delivered Hinds immediately participated in combat operations in May 2018 attacking a Boko Haram terrorist movement camp in Parisu, Borno State.
