Nepal’s army eyes renewed helicopter fleet

With its sights fixed on the task of renewing its helicopter and aircraft fleet, the Nepali Army Air Wing decommissioned two Alouette III helicopters on 26 March, according to Aviation Nepal.

A ceremony occurred at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. These helicopters of the 11th Brigade had faithfully served as training platforms as well as regular army missions, clocking up 3,300h and 1,500h respectively.
