National Guards of Ukraine take upgraded helicopters

The National Guards of Ukraine (NGU) took on strength its first two Mi-2MSBs at the Motor Sich plant in Zaporozhya. The ceremony for the handover of the first example was held on 20 December 2017 at Motor Sich’s flight test centre.

The 4.1t Mi-2MSB is an upgraded helicopter powered by a pair of Motor Sich AI-450M turboshafts rated at 465shp each and fitted with some new flight/navigation avionics, including the Orizon-Navigation CH-4312 GPS/GLONASS receiver.
