Mi-26T2V completes its preliminary flight testing

Russian Helicopters has reported that it has completed the preliminary flight testing phase of the Mi-26T2V, a new-generation heavy helicopter for the Russian Army Aviation branch.

The next phase is the more comprehensive joint flight testing, set to be undertaken together with the Russian MoD.

It is planned for completion in Q1 2019 and then the Mi-26T2V will be submitted to the third phase, the so-called joint state flight testing by the Russian MoD, to evaluate the aircraft’s overall suitability for commissioning in service with the Russian military.
