Manila anticipates vanilla attack helicopters

Jordan is expected to donate a pair of second-hand Bell AH-1F Cobra attack helicopters to the Philippine Air Force (PAF), according to the Philippine News Agency.

In a brief story published on 22 May, the newswire service of the government quoted from President Rodrigo Duterte’s speech commemorating the 120th anniversary of the Philippine Navy: ‘Jordan is giving us two Cobra helicopters. Those things that we cannot really afford.’
