Lord placing bets on future

Lord Corporation is a key contributor to the next-generation of rotorcraft through its participation in the build of both the Boeing-Sikorsky SB>1 Defiant and Bell Helicopter’s V-280 Valor under the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) programme.

The company, a manufacturer and developer of vibration, noise and motion control parts on helicopters and fixed-wing, is investing heavily in the future of military rotorcraft.

Scott Miller, marketing manager at Lord Corporation, told Shephard that although the results of the FVL programme might be uncertain, Lord’s placement on board the next aircraft was bright.
