Long game on horizon for H160M export customers

Deliveries of the in-development Airbus H160M medium aircraft will not be available to export customers any sooner than 2026, as the manufacturer first concentrates on managing a tri-service deal with France.

Airbus will continue to prioritise a programme schedule for its launch customer that targets prototype activities beginning in 2023 and first aircraft deliveries three years later – with 169 of the new helicopters set to be handed over to the French Army, French Navy and French Air Force.
