Lockheed Martin to retrofit Seahawk mission computers
Lockheed Martin has secured a $37.83 million order to retrofit MH-60R/S Seahawk mission computers (MCs).
This will see the Generation III, V and VI MC configuration replaced with the Generation 3i and 5i MC configuration.
Alongside this work on 186 USN aircraft, the contract also includes retrofits for seven Australian MH-60R/S Seahawks, plus five for Denmark and two for Saudi Arabia.
The order also includes 162 wiring kits for the USN, nine for Australia, three for Denmark and three for Saudi Arabia.
Work will be carried out in Clearwater, Florida and Owego, New York and is set to be concluded by May 2023.
A total of $2.9 million from FMS funds have been obligated at the time of award.
