Lockheed Martin prepared for heavy lifting on CH-53K

In advance of formally presenting its case to the German government on how the CH-53K King Stallion meets heavy-lift competition requirements, Lockheed Martin is negotiating with numerous supply chain sources and expect to reveal a number of chosen partners within Q1.

The search for and due diligence relating to supply chain partners in the country is being carried out in earnest, amid some speculation that the German government could eventually require industry to ensure a certain percentage of domestic labour is retained by the production programme.
