KAI rolls out Light Armed Helicopter
Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) rolled out the first prototype of the Light Armed Helicopter (LAH) at its Sacheon headquarters on 18 December, this being a military variant of the Light Civil Helicopter (LCH) that achieved its maiden flight on 24 July.
This first LAH was decked out in a Republic of Korea Army (ROKA) camouflage scheme and military livery.
The genealogy of the LAH is obvious from its appearance, as it is based on the H155. Airbus Helicopters is providing technical support to KAI on this project that represents the South Korean conglomerate’s first foray into development of an
