Islamabad to modernise its army's fleet

The Pakistan Army is soon to induct a small number of Russian Helicopters Mi-35Ms in the assault role and is in the process  of modernising its attack, light support and utility helicopter fleets.

Speaking at the IQPC International Helicopter Conference in London, Maj Gen Nasir Shah, cdr of Pakistan Army Aviation (PAA) also said that the TAI T129 is in competition with the Bell AH-1Z Venom in relation to the future purchase of attack helicopters.
