ILA 2010: Bertling tackles NH90 and Tiger problems head on

Eurocopter CEO Lutz Bertling has been tackling critics of Tiger helicopter at the Berlin airshow.

Bertling's comments follow weeks of damning press coverage over a series of wiring problems with the European attack helicopter.

As reported by Rotorhub.com on 28 May, the German Ministry of Defence has refused to take delivery of further Tiger UHT aircraft until the wiring issue is fixed. At the time, they said the aircraft did not meet the 'agreed technical specifcations' and 'show significant wiring problems'.
