Helitech 2016: Safran market pick-up hopes
Despite a lot of factors impacting the helicopter engine market, Safran Helicopter Engines are optimistic that developments in China, Russia and India will right the wrongs currently impacting production.
Cyrille Poetsch, VP programmes at Safran, explained to Shephard that the company was dealing with limited activity in South America, and in the oil and gas sector, as well as contending with the impact of the H225 which crashed in Norway on 29 April this year.
