Heli-Pacific 2012: Australia to get early MH-60Rs

Australia has accelerated the delivery schedule of its new MH-60R naval combat helicopter after securing some early production slots from the US Navy (USN), it has emerged.

Speaking at the Heli-Pacific conference in Queensland, Australia on 23 May, Capt Scott Lockey, project director for Air 9000 Phase 8 at Australia’s Defence Materiel Organisation, said the agency had come to an agreement with the USN to bring deliveries of the aircraft forward.
