Heli-One adds S-76 to industry-leading list of approvals
Heli-One, the world’s largest independent helicopter MRO company, has earned S-76 Customer Support Centre status, adding to a long list of approvals already held by the company. The approval applies to all variants of the S-76.
"Heli-One is a tip-to-tail maintenance shop and we pride ourselves on continually expanding the capabilities and services we are able to offer to customers,” said Neil Calvert, president of Heli-One. “The S-76 is a very popular aircraft and represents a significant market that Heli-One is well positioned to serve.”
The S-76 Customer Support Centre designation is in addition to the previous dynamic component approval that Heli-One previously held, allowing Heli-One to expand its range of services to include the complete airframe.
“Earning a Customer Support Centre designation means that you are among the best of the best,” said Mr Calvert. “We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and our focus on customer service and it’s the reason why we now have approvals on some 17 different aircraft types from a range of OEMs.”
Heli-One has three primary maintenance bases; its headquarters in Vancouver, Canada; in Stavanger, Norway, and Fort Collins, Colorado. Each maintenance base has a specific range of capabilities.
In addition to the new S-76 designation, the list of approvals also includes AW139, B212/412, S-61, S-92, AS332, AS365, AW139, B214ST, EC225, Alouette, AS350, AS355, BO105, EC120 and SA315B.
Heli-One is part of the CHC Helicopter group of companies and provides all maintenance to the 250-strong CHC fleet, including almost 80 S-76 helicopters.
