Heli-Expo 2019: Bell takes diplomatic approach to FVL funding

Ahead of the highly anticipated US Presidential Budget 2019 scheduled for March, Bell is remaining non-committal to any suggestion that low level FVL funding could jeopardise its own investment plans on the US Army programme.

Recent comments from Textron CFO Frank Connor, had indicated that Bell’s parent company would ‘roll back’ FVL funding if the US government does not make a significant financial commitment to industry, but when asked by Shephard if he shared Connor’s analysis, Mitch Snyder, CEO at Bell, refused to be drawn on the subject.
