Heli-Expo 2019: Ace Aeronautics provides further Black Hawks to Austria
Vienna has awarded further aircraft to the direct commercial sale contract it has with Ace Aeronautics, it was announced on 1 February 2019.
Valued at over $50 million, the contract involves the design, manufacture, and installation of a new avionics system for three additional Black Hawk helicopters.
Ace Aeronautics will be installing the Ace Deck VL-60 cockpit upgrade to the additional aircraft, which includes: the Garmin G5000H Integrated Flight Deck; the Avalex Technologies Cockpit Management Unit and Digital Mapping System; four 12in NVIS compatible 4k Ultra-HD displays and two touchscreen controllers.
