Heli-Expo 2016: Sikorsky looks to future of civil aircraft
Sikorsky is looking towards future civil helicopter possibilities in anticipation of the oil and gas market rebound, as the new Lockheed Martin division voices its commitment to the sector.
The company admitted that like other OEMs it has been affected by the dip in the price of oil but expects the market to bounce back as has been observed in previous market downturns.
Speaking at Heli-Expo, Dan Schultz, president of Sikorsky, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to the civil helicopter market following its acquisition by Lockheed Martin.
