Heli-Expo 2015: Airbus Helicopters reveals new aircraft names
Airbus Helicopters will rename its entire product line to better reflect its closer alignment with its parent company and simplify the naming convention of the range.
The launch of the new Airbus Helicopters X4 here at Heli-Expo has forced the company to review how it names its aircraft and the company has settled on the ‘H’ designation.
Therefore the EC120 will be renamed the H120; the EC130 T2 renamed as the H130 and so on up the product range. The AS350 will be redesignated as the H125 as the company moves away from the name reflecting whether the aircraft has
