Heli-Expo 2014: Bell bullish about future of military products
Bell Helicopter is taking the planned retirement of the OH-58 Kiowa Warrior and TH-67 Creek fleets on the chin and remains bullish about its future in the military helicopter business.
Speaking to reporters at the Heli-Expo exhibition in Anaheim, John Garrison, president and CEO of Bell Helicopter, said that despite the Pentagon’s stated plans to retire both fleets, the company remains under contract to upgrade the OH-58’s cockpit and sensors and to build wartime replacement cabins.
