Heli-Expo 2012: NHV invests heavily in Eurocopter
Belgian operator Noordzee Helikopters Vlaanderen (NHV) is expanding its fleet through a €150 million order for ten EC175 medium utility helicopters.
Eurocopter and NHV signed the agreement at the Heli-Expo exhibition in Dallas on 13 February, with deliveries of the first aircraft due to begin at the end of 2013 and continue through to 2015.
Speaking to Shephard after the contract signing, NHV CEO Eric Van Hal said the order was part of a major investment plan and the company was looking to purchase an additional €100 million worth of aircraft in coming years. NHV already operates EC155 B1, AS365
