Farnborough 2012: New helicopter to be jointly produced in Russia

AgustaWestland and Russian Helicopters have signed a teaming agreement to jointly produce a new 2.5 tonne, single engine helicopter, it has been revealed.

Speaking at the Farnborough International Airshow, AgustaWestland CEO Bruno Spagnolini said the overall programme would be shared on a 50:50 basis and would be designed for the worldwide market across a range of applications.
