Eurocopter ramps up aircraft production

Eurocopter plans to ramp up the production of key aircraft types, reflecting the company’s confidence in the recovery of the civil helicopter market.

At Eurocopter’s Marignane facility, steady sales of the latest version of the Super Puma, the EC225/725, have seen production steadily increased since 2009 and the goal is for 50 aircraft to be produced annually from the end of 2012, company officials said.
