Owing to improved defence budgets and a consequent increase in demand, the military helicopter EO/IR market in Asia Pacific is growing admirably.
The buying power of China and India is driving much of this investment, but even the modernisation programmes of smaller nations in the region are calling for sophisticated EO/IR systems.
Many militaries in the region already operate a wide-range of rotorcraft platforms with mission equipment that includes a nose-mounted sensor suite with target acquisition capabilities.
