Dubai 2013: Middle East offers opportunities for growth

Strong purchasing power in the Middle East is driving companies to increase their footprint in the region as they  look to boost international sales in response to budget cuts in the US and Europe, according to industry.

The establishment of local partnerships in the region has been highlighted as a key part in gaining access to the market.  As an example, a Boeing statement issued on 18 November, described the need ‘to continue to build presence in the Middle East through a focus on partnerships with regional entities’.
